Use Overview and quick actions
Read the dashboard's operational snapshot and start common client, scheduling, event, and blockout work.
Overview is available to internal users; quick actions require schedule-management access.
Use Overview to see what needs attention and jump directly into the next piece of work.
Available to
Owners, admins, staff, and front-desk users can use Overview. Quick actions appear only for people who can manage the schedule.
Before you start
- Confirm the active school.
- Remember that dashboard figures are summaries; open the linked workspace before making a decision from a total alone.
- Reporting links only appear when you have access to Reports.
Steps
- Select Dashboard, then Overview.
- Read Total revenue (30d), Active students, and Lessons this week for a quick health check. If a tile is clickable, select it to open the matching report.
- Review the performance snapshot and choose a time range when you want to compare revenue and unique students. Select Open reports for the underlying rows.
- Review Billing health for outstanding or overdue balances. Select a balance to continue in Billing with the matching filter already applied.
- Review student progress and the upcoming lessons list for work that needs follow-up.
- To add a household, select the Add client person-plus button.
- Open the Enroll student quick-action menu and choose Enroll student, Book make-up, New event, or Block out time.
- Complete the form or panel that opens. Use Cancel or close the panel if you are not ready to save.
What happens next
Quick actions open over the current workspace, so you can save the new record and return to the same dashboard context. Linked metrics carry their relevant date range or status into Reports or Billing.
If you do not see this option
- Billing health is hidden without billing access.
- Metric links and Open reports are hidden without reporting access.
- The quick-action buttons are hidden if you cannot manage the schedule.
- Some cards may be empty until the school has clients, lessons, invoices, or payments.
- Ask an owner or admin to confirm your access; do not use a shared higher-privilege account.
