Set teaching instruments and availability

Keep a teacher's instruments and recurring availability accurate so booking choices reflect their real teaching coverage.

Available to

Owners, admins, and staff with permission to manage the teacher directory or teaching schedule.

Before you start

Add the instruments your school offers in Settings → Services → Instruments first. Know the teacher's usual days, times, and locations or rooms.

Steps

1. Open Staff and select a teacher.
2. Open the Instruments tab.
3. Select Edit, choose the teacher's instruments, and keep their main instrument first.
4. Save the instrument changes.
5. Open the Schedule tab.
6. Select Edit and add the teacher's recurring availability for each working day.
7. Choose a location or room where the schedule asks for one.
8. Save the schedule.

What happens next

The Staff directory shows the teacher's coverage and available days. Calendar filters and booking flows can use the saved information when showing suitable teachers and times.

If you do not see this option

• The staff member may have only Front desk & operations enabled.
• Your role may allow viewing the schedule without editing it.
• Rooms may be unavailable on your plan or until locations and rooms are configured.
