Manage services, instruments, and pricing plans
Define what the school offers, set booking and enrollment defaults, maintain instruments, and keep pricing plans consistent.
Available under Services for owners, admins, and staff with Settings access; payment synchronization requires additional billing access.
Use the Services catalog as the source of truth for what families can book, how each offering behaves, and which prices or plans apply.
Available to
Owners, admins, and staff with Services settings access can review the catalog and instruments. Some pricing and Stripe actions require owner or admin billing access.
Before you start
List the kinds of instruction or events the school sells, the lesson durations, normal prices, booking limits, enrollment choices, and eligible instruments. Keep service types broad enough that their defaults can be reused.
Steps
Add and configure a service type
- Open Settings → Services → Catalog.
- Select an existing service type, or select Add service type and choose the closest starting behavior.
- Under Overview defaults, set the name and normal service behavior, then select Save overview.
- Under Pricing defaults, choose the supported billing choices and enter prices for each duration. Add lesson or session packs when offered, then select Save pricing defaults or Save pricing.
- Review Current plans. Use Sync Stripe only when billing setup is ready and the plan has complete pricing.
- Under Booking & enrollment, set self-enrollment, recurring, single-visit, and trial availability plus booking windows. Select Save booking defaults.
- Under Make-up settings, set the defaults this service type should inherit from the school policy.
Maintain instruments
- Open Settings → Services → Instruments.
- Add or remove the school-wide instrument names and select Save instruments.
- Return to a service type and use Instruments offered to narrow that service, when the option is available.
What happens next
New connected services, plans, bookings, and enrollments inherit the saved defaults. Existing records with their own overrides may keep those specific values. Stripe status appears separately when synchronization is available.
If you do not see this option
The service may not support that pricing, booking, or make-up choice. Stripe actions require completed billing setup and appropriate access. Save or cancel an unfinished service-type edit before starting another.
