Create or edit a pipeline, its stages, and what it owns
Set up a pipeline for one kind of inquiry, choose its service coverage and entry point, and maintain the stages your team uses.
Available to people with permission to manage Pipelines.
Create one pipeline for each distinct enrollment journey, then shape its stages around the work your team actually performs.
Available to
Owners, admins, and front-desk team members with pipeline-structure access can create pipelines, edit their setup, and maintain stages. Ordinary staff can work leads and workflow content without changing this structure.
Before you start
Decide what this pipeline is for and where a new inquiry should enter. Good examples are “Private lesson inquiries,” “Summer camp,” or “Birthday parties.” Avoid creating separate pipelines only to represent different lead statuses; stages handle that inside one journey.
Remember that the pipeline owns its Forms and links one default Automation. Moving or archiving part of the pipeline can therefore affect future intake and follow-up.
Steps
Create a pipeline
- Open Pipelines.
- Select Create pipeline.
- In Pipeline details, enter a clear Pipeline name and the requested details.
- Select Next and complete Service coverage so the pipeline matches the inquiry or enrollment work it is meant to handle.
- Select Next and review Stages & wiring.
- Under Inquiry entry, choose the stage where new inquiries should begin.
- Review the setup and select Create pipeline.
Edit a pipeline
- Open the pipeline from the hub.
- On Overview, select Edit pipeline.
- Move through Pipeline details, Service coverage, and Stages & wiring.
- Select Save pipeline when the setup is correct.
Add or edit stages
- From the pipeline Overview, select Add stage.
- Enter the stage details and select Save stage or Add stage.
- Keep ordinary working stages open, and use the final Won and Lost outcomes for completed journeys.
- Edit existing stages when their name or working rules need to change.
What happens next
The new pipeline appears on the Pipelines hub with a default automation that starts Off. Add its inquiry forms, review the automation, and begin moving leads through its stages. Its leads also appear in All leads.
If you do not see this option
You may have permission to work leads without permission to change pipeline structure. Ask an owner to review your workspace access. An archived pipeline may also be hidden from the active hub.
