Review delivery results and activity
Read broadcast totals, distinguish provider handoff from delivery, and investigate failed or suppressed recipients.
Broadcast results require broadcast access; provider Activity is available through Communications settings.
Use results and provider activity together to understand who was eligible, what was handed off, and what was actually delivered.
Available to
Owners, admins, staff, and front-desk team members with Broadcasts access can review campaign results. Team members with Communications settings access can review provider activity available to their role.
Before you start
Delivery happens in stages. A message can be accepted by the dashboard, handed to a provider, and then delivered, delayed, or failed. Do not treat Sent as proof that the recipient received it.
The broadcast totals mean:
- Recipients: the frozen audience considered for the broadcast.
- Sent: messages handed off for sending.
- Delivered: messages for which the provider reported delivery.
- Failed: attempted messages that received a failure result.
- Suppressed: people excluded by consent, opt-out, missing contact details, sender readiness, or another safety rule.
Steps
- Open Messages → Broadcasts.
- Review the summary tiles for Recipients, Sent, Delivered, Failed, and Suppressed.
- Open the broadcast and select Results for its detailed outcome.
- Compare the totals by channel. A person may be eligible for email but suppressed for SMS, or the reverse.
- Investigate a suppressed result before changing data. Respect opt-outs and consent; correct only genuinely missing or inaccurate contact information.
- For failures or messages that remain pending, open Settings → Communications → Activity.
- Search the activity or filter by provider and status. Read the event details and any error message.
- Open the related setup when the activity points to a sender or provider problem. Use Sync provider status when that action is offered.
- Recheck Activity after the provider has had time to report a final result.
What happens next
Provider events continue to update the activity history as they are processed. The final broadcast totals give the clearest campaign-level summary, while Activity preserves the setup and delivery details needed to investigate problems.
If you do not see this option
The broadcast may still be a draft or scheduled and therefore have no final results. You may also need broader access to Broadcasts or Settings → Communications. Ask an owner or admin to investigate provider setup rather than reconnecting a sender without context.
